What this site is, and is not

MoneyMatcher is an information and comparison service operated by KISS MY ADS LLC, a company registered in the United States. We are not a credit provider, a bank, a debt counsellor or a financial services provider, and nothing on this site is financial advice as defined in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act. We do not process loan applications and we are not a party to any credit agreement you enter into.

Every loan is granted, priced and administered by the lender you apply to, under its own terms and under the National Credit Act 34 of 2005. Matching services listed here are not lenders either; they pass your application to lenders. Your rights and remedies as a consumer lie against the credit provider you contract with.

Accuracy

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, and we say on each review page where a figure came from and when we read it. Lenders change their products, prices and terms without telling us. The pre-agreement statement and quotation a lender gives you is the only document that states what your loan will cost; if it differs from this site, the quotation prevails. Figures we describe as a 'legal maximum' are the caps set by the National Credit Act regulations, not a lender's price.

How we are paid

We earn a referral commission from some companies when you apply through a link on this site. This does not change what you pay: the cost of credit is capped by law however you applied. The order of our lists reflects those commercial relationships; our star ratings do not, and cannot be bought. See the affiliate disclosure page for detail.

Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, copy or republish its content, reverse-engineer its tools or use it in any way that interferes with its operation. The content, design, calculators and trade marks on this site belong to us or our licensors; lender names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from your reliance on information on it, or from your dealings with any lender, matching service or other third party you reach through it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be limited by agreement.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. You can reach us through the contact page; our legal name is KISS MY ADS LLC. We may change these terms; the date at the top of the page changes when we do, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
